GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
These conditions incorporate the basis on which reservations are accepted for the "Casinha do Sol-Posto" brand / accommodation belonging to the CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS group [1]. The Terms and Conditions below are for bookings made directly through the Casinha do Sol-Posto website at www.casinhadosolposto.pt.
By using this Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
We may revise these terms and conditions from time to time by updating this page. The revised terms will be effective upon publication. Use of some parts or features of the Site may be governed by additional terms and conditions. Where this is the case, you will be notified accordingly of these additional terms and conditions.

Casinha do Sol-Posto reserves the right to charge an early departure fee if the customer departs before the original departure date and time.

A valid credit card is required at the time of booking.
A deposit may be required.
All booking rates on a CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS property are subject to a Cancellation Policy. Failure to check in on the expected arrival date will incur a fee as described in the Cancellation Policy. We reserve the right to cancel or modify reservations in circumstances where it appears that a customer has provided an invalid credit card, is involved in fraudulent or inappropriate activity, or the reservations contain or have been the result of a mistake or error. Additionally, we reserve the right to cancel or amend reservations if they do not comply with our terms and conditions. If a customer decides to shorten their stay or check out early, a fee will apply in accordance with the Cancellation Policy associated with the booking rate. In the case of the above cancellations of reservations, CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS has no obligation to guarantee new available reservations or better rates. A new booking with the best available rate will have to be made by the guest at the time of the new booking.
As a condition of using this site, the guest / customer agrees to provide proof of payment to the Casinha do Sol-Posto reservations department within 48 hours of booking if using a non-face-to-face payment method, indicating the booking confirmation number on the proof of payment. The guest / customer will be fully responsible for any bank fees and / or costs required to complete the bank's transaction (s). In addition, the guest / client acknowledges that the reservation may be canceled by the Accommodation if proof of payment is not sent to “Casinha do Sol-Posto” within the 48-hour notification period. The guest / customer will be responsible for any cancellation or non-show penalties that may be incurred and acknowledges that the booking and personal contact information provided is correct for hotel validation purposes.
CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS and its affiliates reserve the right to cancel contracts at any time based on incorrect pricing or service information.
In the rare and unexpected event that the property is unable to make the previously confirmed accommodation, it will comply with its standards by assuming the obligation to transfer customers to an alternate property within CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS or another of equal level Trading Partners. or higher at no cost to the customer. If there is no level property equal to or higher than the original reservation, it may be necessary to provide a lower level property to customers. In this case, customers will be reimbursed for any cost savings. The alternatives presented are the responsibility of the Property. If the customer chooses a property of a different level from the alternatives presented under this condition, the customer will be required to pay any difference.
By using this website, you warrant to CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS that you will not use it for any unlawful purposes or prohibited by these terms, conditions and warnings. While CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS periodically checks or analyzes the discussions, conversations, publications, broadcasts, announcements and others on this page, CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS has no obligation to do so and assumes no liability or obligation arising out of content from any other locations or due to any errors, defamations, slander, insults, gaps, falsehoods, obscenity, pornography, profanity, threats or inaccuracies contained in any information present at those locations on the site. Posting or transferring any illicit, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic or profane material or any material that may constitute or encourage conduct that is considered a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or in any way break any law. CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS will fully cooperate with all law enforcement authorities or court orders requesting or appointing CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS to disclose the identity of any individual posting such information or materials.
Notwithstanding any contrary information contained in these Terms and Conditions, CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect damages, damages arising from subsequent damages or special circumstances, including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, loss profits, loss of use, loss of opportunity, which arise due to the performance or non-performance of obligations under these Terms and Conditions.
CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS strongly recommends the purchase of a Complete Travel Insurance. We suggest that the policy cover, but is not limited to, the following: loss of payment for cancellation, loss or damage to personal baggage, loss of money and medical treatment expenses.
CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS does not control any third party websites and, as such, is not responsible for the content associated with a link or links present on linked third party websites. CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS provides these links for your convenience only and the insertion of any link does not imply endorsement, review or verification by CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS of the site directed by the link or any information contained therein.
In case of dispute, the consumer may resort to an Alternative Consumer Dispute Resolution Entity: Lisbon Consumer Conflict Arbitration Center; Consumption Conflict Arbitration Center of the District of Coimbra; Algarve Consumer Conflict Information, Mediation and Arbitration Center. CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS respects the privacy of its customers and suppliers. This Privacy Policy describes who we are, for what purposes we may use your data, how we treat it, with whom we share it, how long we keep it, and how to contact us and exercise your rights.
Your data will be processed by companies belonging to the CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS Group [1], hereafter CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS or “us”. As a rule, your details are requested directly when you register on our Site, visit our Lodges, communicate with us by phone, email, or chat, request a contact and / or send newsletters, subscribe a particular service, provides or requests information, purchases a product or establishes a contractual relationship with CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS online or offline. However, CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS may also collect your data indirectly through partners and official entities.
CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS will treat your personal data for the following purposes:
Client management
The processing of your data is necessary for the performance of the contract to be concluded between you and CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS, or for the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request. During your stay we may collect images, audio and video data through security cameras located in public areas such as corridors and lobbies in our units.
If you send us personal data regarding other people (for example, when making a reservation on behalf of another person or purchasing a gift product) we believe that we also have a legitimate interest here to treat that data in accordance with our privacy policy.
Your data will be retained for this purpose for 5 years after your last stay in a CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS Accommodation without prejudice to compliance with the statutory data retention provisions for a longer period.
Customer personal data may also be processed by CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS for the purpose of litigation management. The legal basis is the existence of a legitimate interest on the part of CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS and the data will be retained for the period necessary for the exercise of their rights.
Lead Management
The processing of your data is necessary to perform pre-contractual measures at your request with a view to concluding a contract between you and CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS. If you do not provide your data we will not be able to provide you with the requested or pre-contracted services.
Your data will be retained for this purpose for 120 days without prejudice to compliance with statutory data retention provisions for a longer period.
Marketing
CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS may process your data to send you information about its products and services. This data processing will be performed only with your consent, provided at the time of data collection or using the form specifically completed for this purpose. If you consent, you will receive marketing communications via email or other means indicated by you. Failure to provide your personal data (name and email) makes CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS unable to send you commercial communications.
Your data will be retained for this purpose until further notice or no later than 5 years after your last stay in a CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS Accommodation.
Profiling
CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS may treat your personal data and combine information regarding personal preferences, interests and behavior in order to improve the products and services we provide to you.
This data processing will be performed only with your consent, provided at the time of data collection or using the form specifically completed for this purpose.
You may object to this processing at any time.
Your data will be retained for this purpose until further notice or no later than 5 years after your last stay in a CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS Accommodation.
Management of complaints and contacts received by CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS
You can send us, via email [email protected], suggestions or complaints regarding the services provided by CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS. Your personal data will be treated based on the legitimate interests of CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS and your consent. CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS collects your data to analyze and resolve the situation underlying your suggestion or complaint.
Your data will be retained for this purpose for as long as necessary to resolve your issue, no later than 3 years after the end of the process.
Supplier Management / Service Provider / Subcontractors
The processing of your data is necessary for the performance of the contract to be concluded between you and CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS, or for the performance of pre-contractual measures at your request. If you do not provide your data we will not be able to fulfill the contractual obligations assumed. Your data will be retained for this purpose for the duration of the contract / contractual relationship in question without prejudice to compliance with the legal provisions on data retention for a longer period. The personal data of suppliers may be processed by CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS for the purpose of litigation management. The legal basis is the existence of a legitimate interest on the part of CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS and the data will be retained for the period necessary for the exercise of their rights.
For the purposes and under the terms described above, your data may be disclosed:
- Within the CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS business group. We always strive to meet the standards and service standards of our brands in the various countries where we operate. In this context, always with your prior consent, we share your personal data with authorized internal recipients.
- Third party service providers / supplier / subcontractors of CASCATA D´ASSUNTOS.
If you are our customer, service provider or supplier, your personal data may be processed by companies subcontracted by CASCATA D'ASSUNTOS, namely for website hosting, email, online store, inquiries, hotel management system, call center and business partners.
